CDX 2019: A WMS Group perspective.
CDX is over for another year for Team WMS, with all the months of planning, organising and hard work culminating in an event that once again proved an out-and-out hit with attendees from around the UK and beyond.
Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre was THE place to be last week for everyone working in the automotive retail sector, with workshops, Live Stage panel sessions and keynote presentations from top industry figures giving the attendees best-practice knowledge they could take away and use as soon as they got back to their businesses .
Team WMS consisting of Marketing Manager Ian Tallent, Keith Pipe and Luke Saunders from Sales and Claims Engineer Rob Groves were set up on stand A4 right by the entrance.
From the moment the doors opened it was all go and noticeably busier than 2018 in Manchester. The Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre turned out to be an excellent choice of venue.
Ian Tallent “What a fantastic and hectic day! It was only as the day drew towards a close that I realised we had been so busy that I hadn´t really had the time to view many of the other stands at the expo”
“We had an amazing number of visitors to the WMS stand and got to chat with a lot of potential new partners as well as catching up with some existing friends and clients”
“It was good to see that even in these challenging times dealers are looking for value added warranty products and chose WMS to talk to first”
“I have to say our retro arcade racing game also proved to be a huge hit with our visitors and a BIG congratulations to David Tingay of RSL who was the fastest racer with a time of 4:01:56. David is now the proud of owner of a signed copy of Ben Collins book “How to Drive”.
Ian “We´re already looking forward to CDX20 and our planning to top this year’s event has begun”
