Despite having just clicked over the half way mark of the year, we have already gained an impressive number of victories during 2012 as we continue to experience rapid growth and more dealers turn to us for their warranty and protection products.

  • February – We partnered with Proton to offer our seven element ‘Safe and Sound’ scheme as peace of mind to their used car buyers.
  • March – We unveiled our collaboration with Unipart, which meant that if dealers didn’t have a workshop, our policy holders could take their vehicle to any Unipart Car Care Centre and they/we would be assured of the highest customer service.
  • April – Our accounts team told us that we’d achieved a staggering 30% increase in turnover from 2011 which was aided by the ‘Safe and Sound’ dealer network development, additional key account managers and a strong marketing and dealer recruitment push.
  • May – Safe and Sound’s first birthday: one year on and dealers continue to recognise that this motoring scheme worth £500 but provided free of charge to buyers really is the new way for consumers to buy their next car.
  • June – We launched a family of ‘Safe and Sound’ products endorsed by Sir Stirling Moss to provide peace of mind to buyers – SmartShine paint and fabric protection, Guaranteed Asset Protection (pay monthly and straight payment) and MOT cover.
  • June – We launched our colossal rewards scheme featuring over 8,000 offers from thousands of big retailers where households could save an average of £1,500 a year on their everyday shopping. Membership is provided FREE OF CHARGE to all dealers, policy holders, partners and suppliers.
  • July – We won “Best Warranties” at the Car Dealer Power Awards, hosted by Car Dealer magazine’s James Baggott and TV presenter Mike Brewer of ‘Wheeler Dealers’.
  • July – We hosted a press conference at our head office with Sir Stirling Moss, and we had a turnout of over 40 guests including many journalists from the trade and mainstream automotive publications, and dealer groups.
  • August – Issue 3 (the bumper edition) of Fast Lane went out to dealerships and the response so far has been astounding, with dealers telling us that our competitions, industry insights from leading automotive experts and good, practical tips on how to boost their business is both refreshing and insightful.
