Quality over quantity is key for Prime Vehicle Sales. 

Prime Vehicle Sales, based in the village of Sawtry, was established by a board of partners in 2013 who share a combined experience of over 60 years in the motor industry. Since then, the dealership has grown steadily and consistently, and now primarily stocks handpicked used cars and LCVs with the occasional motorcycle. All vehicles are subjected to a rigorous selection process and meticulous inspections.

What were your objectives?

Acquiring the highest quality stock is a fundamental part of our business philosophy. Our core value is quality over quantity, which is why only vehicles with known history and credentials make the cut. We ensure that customer needs are discussed in a low key, supportive and stress-free environment, and also offer a complimentary vehicle sourcing service which has proven to be very popular. To reinforce our offering, we required an excellent warranty partner who would not only deliver the right products but also the best aftersales care to our loyal customers.

Why did you choose the WMS Group?

We wanted a strong and respected partner in our warranty company, and the WMS Group were recommended to us by another dealer. Upon meeting our account manager Mark, we were instantly comfortable with his indepth knowledge and friendly, professional manner. After three and a half years of association, we can confirm the impression Mark gave on that first meeting has continued. What was your strategy?

Each vehicle sold under our standard purchase arrangements automatically includes a minimum of six months warranty with the best cover for its age and mileage. We also offer an attractive range of incentives for the customer to purchase a longer term, which is assisting our profitability. Our buyers are made aware that wherever they are geographically, we will liaise directly with the WMS Group if required which they appreciate.

What are your objectives for 2017/2018?

We recognise that we are still a young, developing business in a very competitive and everchanging environment. As Prime Vehicle Sales continues to build on its already glowing reputation, we are now concentrating on further investments across the business to support our growth, which in turn will enable us to add further value to our customer base.

Do you have any advice for other dealers when choosing a warranty provider?

Cheapest is most certainly not best! Establishing a strong working relationship with your warranty provider is vital. We decided to partner with the WMS Group following extensive research. From our initial meeting with Mark, we knew that the company shared our integrity and commitment to quality of service. It’s a faultless service and we cannot recommend you highly enough.
