Carcliq.co.uk is privately owned by Jo and Antony Lewis. Antony has worked in the motor trade for over 30 years and developed CarCliq after becoming increasingly frustrated with the poor service, price hikes and operational weaknesses offered by other classifieds companies. CarCliq is backed by a six figure investment and a team of people passionate about lending an exceptional service to the industry.

The marketing campaign

  • In order to increase awareness and footfall, their nationwide marketing activity is now underway and will continue throughout the whole of 2013, commencing with a promotional campaign in over 200 Sainsbury’s, Homebase and Wickes stores. Additionally during January, they will have an advertising campaign in 22 motorway service stations which will promote you to millions of drivers.
  • Between January and March, all users registering to the site will be entered into a free draw to win an iPad, supported by literature which can be handed to the customer whilst they are in the showroom. From March until the end of the year, they will be running additional draws with a similar prize value.
  • CarCliq are also investing in an extensive Google pay-per-click (PPC) campaign that will drive traffic to their website. This includes targeting specific keywords and geographic locations, to attract genuine buyers.
  • Dealers will be promoted through social media including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
